Issue 01 · May 2026
A working directory of artists worth knowing.
Curated, claimable, and growing. We index working artists across the open web — any medium, any region — and help each one find a corner of the internet that’s unmistakably their own.
This issue
Four artists we’re reading the work of, this month.
How it works
The directory is built like a magazine, not a marketplace.
01
We index working artists across the web.
Personal sites, gallery rosters, regional registries, and the long tail of artists publishing on their own terms. The directory is built by hand, profile by profile.
02
Each artist gets a vetted profile.
One representative work, a portfolio link, the meta — region, medium, socials. We write the summary in an editorial voice and credit every image. No SEO copy. No pop-ups.
03
Artists can claim, edit, or upgrade.
Claim the page to upload more work. Edit the bio, set the socials, choose a custom slug. And — if it isn't taken — pick up your own .art domain in a single click.
The directory
8 artists, eight mediums, one growing list.
Filters are a sketch, for now. Use them to read the room — full filtering ships when the directory clears one hundred listings.

On the matter of domains
Every artist deserves a corner of the internet that’s unmistakably theirs. We think it ends in .art.
.art is the only top-level domain made for artists. We help every listed artist find theirs — usually in a single click.

Thousands of working artists. One directory. We’re cataloguing all of them.
