TARWUK operates as a pseudonymous artistic duo, defining their practice as a "condition" rather than a fixed identity. Drawing inspiration from the avant-garde collectives of their native, former Yugoslavia, they embrace collaboration as both a method and an ideology, pushing the boundaries of individual authorship.

At its core, TARWUK's work is an existential inquiry into selfhood, manifesting as an experimental union that challenges conventional artmaking. Their output is diverse, encompassing painting, sculpture, installation, and performance, yet they view these mediums as distinct "venues to explore a collaborative approach," rather than ends in themselves.

This revisionist and multi-faceted practice weaves together a wide array of functions and fragments. Through their collective entity, Bruno Pogačnik Tremow and Ivana Vukšić continuously strain the limits of what art can be, creating a dynamic and evolving body of work rooted in their shared artistic exploration.
